(More customer reviews)Because of my crazy-nutty hyperreactive skin--atopic dermatitis, eczema, hives, acne, etc--I can't use a lot of products. I used to use Cetaphil (the wash and the bar) in the shower, but that really didn't leave me feeling clean. About a year ago, I switched to Aquaphor, and I like it a whole lot better. It's more effective at taking off makeup. It's non-irritating. Doesn't have a funky smell (some unfragranced products do).
I tend to rotate products, so I still keep some Cetaphil on hand. But I find I reach much more often for Aquaphor when it's time to wash my face (in the shower or over the sink). And one those days when my body is rashy, too, I substitute my scented Vitabath or Dr Bronner's Peppermint (which I love for below-the-neck use) for Aquaphor all over.
A solid product for us allergy prone types.
