(More customer reviews)The grip itself is made of sturdy plastic and of good quality.The levers that actuate the suction cups are well built.That said, like any other suction cup attached grip, this device should not be relied upon for heavy support, more just to help maintain one's balance when moving about a tub or other area.If you require no-fail support, get a grip that screws into the wall studs.If the top of your tub is narrow, and/or rounded, and/or has a rough surface, the suction cups will not adhere; a surface of at least 4 inches that is flat and smooth are needed for the suction cups to firmly attach.Another caution is that over time the suction may weaken; test for stability before putting any weight on it.
