(More customer reviews)This is the first time I've written a review and I'm only doing it because I was intrigued by one especially negative review in light of all the positive reviews.I bought the product anyway and quickly discovered that it doesn't work on my toilets.Too easy to pull up the lid and seat and completely rip the lock off the toilet rim - no matter how well attached.At first I thought the product was entirely useless.But I'm happy to report that the problem was easily solved.I bought shelf liner made out of rubber and cut a strip to fit on the rim where I planned to install the lock.I installed the lock over the rubber strip and secured it according to the instructions.Voila!The lock fits snugly on the rim and secures the toilet seat and lid very well.I'm surprised the company doesn't include a rubber fitting with the product, as it certainly works and would probably eliminate any complaints.
